The European private credit deal rankings for Q2 26 are in, with Ares still leading the overall deal count for the last 12 months. However, Muzinich has risen to take the quarterly top spot, the first time that the New York-based firm has been pipped to that crown.
Eurazeo has also made a move, rising to the second spot in the quarterly rankings, and third in the LTM rankings, a return to the top five LTM charts for the first time since Q1 25. Goldman Sachs is the manager making way for Eurazeo, falling to 9th, while CVI and Barings maintain their status to round out the top of the LTM rankings.
We will break down the key trends, lender strategies, and market dynamics in our upcoming quarterly European Private Credit Review (check out the report from Q1 26 here). You can also explore the full lender rankings below and see how lenders stack up across market caps, industries and regions on the continent.

Although deal counts include some confidentially submitted information not included in our database, you can find more information in our private credit screener.
