L Catterton-backed fitness chain Solidcore is exploring a sale which could value the company at over $1bn, according to 9fin sources.
The company is working with Piper Sandler, the sources said, and generates roughly $100m of EBITDA. The workout class operator is eyeing a sale that could yield a double digit multiple, sources added, implying an enterprise value of over $1bn.
L Catterton acquired a majority stake in the business in 2024 in a deal that valued the company at more than $600m. Existing lenders to the company include Comvest and Fortress, according to 9fin’s BDC database.
Solidcore joins a host of other fitness chains to explore a sale in recent months, including Hot 8 Yogaand SportCity. Endurance fitness company Hyroxwas also acquired by a consortium of firms led by L Catterton in September.
